Fragrant Beef Noodles is located in the middle section of Anju Street in Taipei, with the nearest MRT stations being Liuzhangli and Lingguang. Anju Street, Leyue Street, and Alley 228 of Heping East Road can be considered a food hub for the residents of this area.
Today I enjoyed beef soup noodles, braised soft tofu skin, bonito flake cold tofu, and braised white radish, totaling 135 NTD.
Beef Soup Noodles:
You can choose between braised and clear broth; the clear broth is quite transparent, rich in beef bone flavor without being overly salty. The noodles are thin, with a chewy texture that absorbs the broth well.
Braised Soft Tofu Skin:
It has a tender yet not mushy texture; each piece is soaked in the braised sauce, bringing a rich bean aroma upon entering the mouth – delicious.
Braised White Radish:
It absorbs the salty aroma of the braised sauce while retaining the radish’s natural sweetness. The white radish is carefully selected, with no fibrous parts that are hard to chew, making it quite satisfying.
Bonito Flake Cold Tofu:
The large tofu has a delicate texture, paired with bonito flakes and a bit of soy sauce paste, creating a simple yet tasty dish.
Overall, it is a beef noodle shop with stable quality. The side dishes and noodles are quite impressive.
In fact, this shop's original location was the Old Wang Original Beef Noodles that I previously wrote about. It seems to have commonly rebranded and opened independently after leaving a franchise. Although the shop has slightly reduced its size, it remains clean and tidy. The diverse sauce bar and refreshing drink bar are still available.
If you've finished reading this article, you can go change Old Wang's business status to permanently closed - act fast!
Highly recommended to everyone!
