"Student Life – What to Eat #Birthday Special
【JoyFull】 – Located in the underground street of the train station, K district, Dongsen Plaza
★Meal Details
This time, I ordered the cheese hamburger and fried chicken set meal for $279 (plus a 10% service charge).
Total: $307
★Review
The self-service bar allows you to enjoy free access (not including ice cream) if you order more than $150.
Food:
It really has a homestyle feel to it, not particularly impressive...
The miso soup that was recently added to the self-service bar is actually more delicious than the miso soup that comes with the meal.
The pickled passion fruit slices served as a side dish are very flavorful; it's my favorite side dish.
Self-Service Bar:
The matcha latte is very good, but unfortunately, I noticed the sugar hadn't fully dissolved towards the end.
The popcorn is average.
★Service
The waitstaff are all very young. During peak hours, I saw them bustling around,
but they still wore smiles and were full of energy, which is really great.
★Waiting Time
5–10 minutes
★Special Offers
Previously registered as a Dongsen member, I unexpectedly received a text message with a $200 birthday voucher.
Just in time to spend it at the underground street of Taipei Main Station.
This time, I chose to dine at Joyfull,
only to find out it is a Japanese homestyle chain restaurant established in 1976, the highest market share homestyle restaurant in Japan.
Everyone should take a chance to visit the Dongsen underground street.
The food variety is comparable to the restaurants inside Breeze.
If you are celebrating your birthday in that month, there’s a series of birthday offers you can take advantage of.
