This time, I visited 'GONTRAN CHERRIER,' which is a 7-minute walk from Omotesando Station! They use only the highest quality carefully selected ingredients, such as original blend flour and Normandy butter, to create exquisite croissants recognized in Paris!

Mr. Gontran Cherrier is a fourth-generation boulanger from Normandy, France. After graduating from two prestigious culinary schools and working under famous chefs in three-star restaurants, he opened his own bakery in Montmartre, Paris, in 2010. His popularity has expanded beyond France, with about 60 stores in Asia, North America, and the Middle East, beloved by people around the world. He opened the Aoyama location in July 2021 with the desire to deliver crunchy, authentic French bread and flaky croissants to homes around the globe.

The croissants from 'GONTRAN CHERRIER' were recognized as one of the "most delicious croissants in Paris" by the fashion and lifestyle magazine "VOGUE PARIS" in 2019, and they were also selected as one of the "Best 10 Breads in Japan" in 2014, achieving 4th place for the best baguette in Paris in 2017...!

Using only the highest quality ingredients, including their original blend flour and Normandy butter, they beautifully express French traditions while incorporating creative originality without being bound by convention, achieving a perfect fusion in both appearance and taste.

Menu I ordered this time:
【Pain au Chocolat】
The beautiful layers of the Danish caught my eye. Inside, there was crispy chocolate, making for a fun texture!♡

Upon entering the store, approximately 40 types of bread were always displayed, with two new items introduced every month. On the first floor, you can purchase freshly made bread, sandwiches, and cakes displayed in a case for takeout, or enjoy them at the outdoor terrace seats. The second floor can be used as a café, where you can enjoy delicious bread with your favorite drink!

Once again, Harapeko-chan is fully satisfied!
Thank you for the meal.

Appearance
The translation of "パンオショコラ" to English is "chocolate croissant."

Kadorar Bakery 🥯 嘉多娜 天然酵母麵包店
BakeryKowloon
Hovering beyond restaurants deserving of Foodies’ recognition, let’s taste some of Kadorar (嘉多娜)’s nationally renowned signature breads that are worth the dough. A bite into these warm, chewy, crusty, substantial and fragrant edamame blueberries cheese tea breads instantly opens the floodgates to our childhood memories of sweet dreams. We definitely could make a meal out of these satisfactorily moist petite delicacies. It’s one of our best “Shut-up-and-take-my-money!” dining eXperience if you support bakery people who make astonishingly amazing breads, show love for democratic freedom towards liberal living as well as peaceful lifestyles. #香港人加油

Willa Jean
BakeryNew Orleans
Can't disagree with their self description: Adding a modern touch to traditional southern cuisine, Willa Jean elevates classic dishes with creative flair and innovative twists while staying true to the roots of the region's culinary heritage. Willa Jean is a cherished bakery in new orleans's heart, known for its comforting southern fare. The place is modern and bright with its glass walls covering half of the room. The biscuits are fantastic and a must have when being in NOLA. We had the fried chicken and tabasco honey biscuit and the bacon and egg and pimento cheese biscuit. Too bad we couldn't try more from the menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

Aunty Ann @ NU Empire
BakerySubang Jaya
A typical Aunty Anne chain that is famous for its pretzels. Plenty of different kinds to choose from. They also sell other pastry sticks, sausage and cheese nuggets if pretzels arent your thing. There is also lemonade for drinks and dips awailable for extra charge. There are seasonal promotional items to try. Food is packed with easy to eat packaging; making it a good snack to eat while walking around. Pretzel tasted nice with soft texture and well seasoned. Lemonade (not in pic) is also quite decent, with a nice sour refreshing taste. Service was quick as expected and staff were friendly.
