Originally, this trip was just for one ramen shop, but after finishing our meal on the first day, I couldn't stop thinking about it 😂 A friend suddenly found this place (there's one in Taipei, but I haven't tried it) and even on a weekday at 7 PM, there were quite a few people. As it got closer to 8 PM, more and more people showed up, many of whom were Japanese office workers. Below are the dishes we had that day.
▪️Special Karashi Miso Ramen ¥1780
I ordered the second most popular ramen (the first is the meat increase). While waiting in line, a staff member came by to ask about the spiciness level. I wasn't sure how spicy it would be, so I conservatively chose the lowest level, "less." For me, the spice level was just right; the noodles were delicious, the bean sprouts were crunchy, and the soft-boiled egg was very flavorful. The highlight was... that piece of meat was simply too delicious!!! It was so good that my friend and I couldn't stop raving about it. We also really liked the broth, which had a rich backfat flavor. There was also seasoning powder available to add different tastes (I saw the table next to us adding a lot).
▪️Pork Over Rice ¥550
It’s just a piece of meat placed on top of rice, with some green onions added. The rice was cooked very well, and it paired perfectly with the braised meat and soup. I recommend that those with a bigger appetite definitely add this!
Overall, even though we had to wait a little, it was really delicious! After finishing, I felt very satisfied. I must again rave about that piece of chashu (braised meat?), which was truly amazing. There were also paper towels available at the dining area to prevent getting food on your clothes, which I found very thoughtful.
