Yang Jia Run Pancake is a Gongguan night market delicacy that I have been eating since college. For me, eating just one will make me full, and it’s rich in ingredients and nutritionally balanced. It’s a must-eat when I really want to save money.
This time I ordered the mixed flavor. In addition to the must-have dried tofu, cabbage, bean sprouts, and peanut powder, there are also preserved vegetables, carrots, coriander and other ingredients. The mixed flavor also includes shredded eggs and tuna. There is also red glutinous rice meat, which can be called a hodgepodge.
The specialty of Yang's cake is that their cake crust is made of wheat flour, and the whole wheat texture is more chewy and elastic compared to ordinary cake crust. Unfortunately, this is probably a common problem of some cake shops, because the cabbage is fresh. It's hot, and the whole thing will be soggy at the end, so it's not a perfect ending.
