Located in the West Central District of Tainan, "Guigui Futi" is a specialty shop that focuses on curry. At first, I thought it was an expensive place based on my friend's introduction, but the prices here are actually quite reasonable. This time, I ordered the curry pork chop, which is definitely worth recommending. The aroma of the curry is enticing, and the flavor is rich without being too salty, offering a slightly unique taste compared to typical Japanese curry. The pork chop has a crispy exterior, while the meat inside remains tender and juicy. Each bite presents a perfect combination of crunchiness and softness, making it hard to stop at just one.
In addition to the main dish, their pudding is also delicious. Although the pudding is slightly on the sweet side, its texture is very creamy, and the slight bitterness of the caramel adds depth, creating a delightful balance between sweetness and bitterness. It tastes quite good, though it's a bit pricey. On the other hand, the yogurt is rather ordinary and doesn't leave a particularly strong impression.
It's important to note that "Guigui Futi" does not accept reservations; you can only queue on-site to dine, which means customers eager to enjoy the food need to be patient.
Overall, Guigui Futi comes highly recommended!
