I stopped by when I went to visit Tamsui. It's located in front of a popular tourist spot, Fort San Domingo, and it's also easily accessible by foot from the station!
【Atmosphere of the Cafe】
The cafe is situated on a slight hill, looking very cute, with large windows that offer a view of the sea and an open entrance, creating a sense of openness✨ Since it was a sunny day, I was able to sit by the window and enjoy my coffee while looking at the sparkling sea, which was very nice! However, the openness meant that bugs could get in, and it was disappointing to have them buzzing around while I was eating🫤
【Food Review】
🌼 Osmanthus Oolong Tea
☕️ Iced Americano
🍫 Tiramisu
The osmanthus oolong tea I ordered had a bitter yet refreshing taste, which I found delicious. I think it balanced well when drinking it while eating something sweet! However, I didn't have any particularly lasting impressions of it.
My friend's Americano was described by him as tasting like water 😅 I'm not knowledgeable enough about coffee to comment on that...
The tiramisu was kept in a display case but turned out to be an ice cake 😵 Because of this, it was quite hard at first, and when I tried to stab it with a fork, the cookie base crumbled and it was a bit difficult to eat. I like tiramisu that has a creamy texture, so that was a bit of a letdown.
【Overall Evaluation】
I can't rate the dining experience very highly, but the view was truly wonderful, so I think it might be nice to try other dishes!
