Once again, I have returned to Dazhi. Garden Kitchen is currently my top choice for buffets in Dazhi. I usually come here on weekdays, but today is a holiday, so I wanted to check out the main courses.
On holidays, you must order a main dish to go with the all-you-can-eat option. We ordered the "Premium American Wet-Aged Bone-in Ribeye Steak (24 oz)" sharing platter for two, priced at $4,880 + 10%. Before our main dish arrived, we decided to stroll around the buffet station. The seafood station on holidays differs from the weekday one by including snow crab; the other cold dishes and hot food areas are quite similar.
Moving on to the dessert area, the desserts at Garden Kitchen truly amazed me, even though I'm not a fan of sweets. They are crafted so exquisitely that they resemble works of art. From my first visit to this one, I still want to try each and every flavor!
The 24 oz wet-aged bone-in ribeye steak was being prepared with table service. They first brought out small dishes of zucchini, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes, then the staff skillfully sliced the steaks on a hot iron plate and served them. The 24 oz steak is indeed huge!
The ribeye was relatively tender, although it was a bit overcooked (I originally ordered it medium rare); otherwise, the texture would have been even better.
As for drinks, there were the usual coffee machines, lemonade, iced tea, and milk tea, but no juice. The ice cream options included Haagen-Dazs and Japanese Lotte. I tried Lotte's matcha, giant grape, and ramune soda flavors, which were all quite good, but my personal favorite was the rich texture of the ramune soda flavor.
Once again, it was a satisfying meal. After eating and drinking to my heart's content, I’ll plan for the next surprise~
🎉 Starting from December 13, there will be an afternoon tea period!
