If you are a Michelin-starred enthusiast 💫 or a food connoisseur, then you shouldn't miss this restaurant when you visit Frankfurt. It's quite challenging to make a reservation here, so it's best to book online before heading to Frankfurt—otherwise, if you want to secure a seat on the day itself, there may not be any available, or you might have to eat at the bar!

We had made a reservation in advance, but since we arrived about 10 minutes early, we still had to wait at the bar for a cocktail 🍹. True to its Michelin status, the wait was comfortable; the service was exceptional. Even while waiting, the staff introduced the drink menu to us, crafted our cocktails, and provided insights into the food menu. Such service is quite satisfying in Europe!

Next came the highlight: the dishes!

I never expected that the bread 🥖 I initially planned not to order would haunt my thoughts. The day after the meal, I was still reminiscing about it—though it seemed ordinary, the bread 🥯 was incredibly soft yet chewy, exuding a strong aroma of wheat and dairy, and when paired with their homemade butter spread, you really don't need to worry about not having enough, only about not being able to get enough!

I initially thought it was just an ordinary mushroom dish, but they prepared it in a very German way. The sauce tasted similar to the egg-and-mustard sauce we enjoy with German sausages, slightly sweet with a hint of spiciness. Overall, it was very tasty!

❤️ Truffle Italian Dumplings
If you love truffles, don't miss this dish. The aroma is very rich, but if you're allergic to cheese, you may want to be cautious, as the cheese 🧀 is quite abundant! However, this richness ensures that you can taste the creaminess with every bite!

❤️ Pan-Seared Lamb
My friend was initially afraid of the gamey taste of lamb, but the way they prepared it was excellent. Not only did they eliminate the fowl smell, but they also cooked the lamb perfectly, leaving it tender and pink in the middle. Each bite was soft yet springy, and when paired with their mildly sweet and sour sauce, it was so appetizing that you’d want to finish the whole dish—really well done!

❤️ Pan-Seared Bass
The skin of the fish was perfectly crisp while the flesh remained intact and incredibly tender. Every bite came with a deliciously sweet sauce underneath, seemingly made from fresh bonito, imparting a lovely fresh sweetness. You could easily finish the entire fish with just a few bites!

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The portion sizes for each dish are not particularly large, so if you come with at least two people, you can order an extra couple of dishes to share and experience different flavors. Especially, you can also order a glass of their local specialty red wine to enjoy with your meal, which is truly a delightful experience! Their cocktails are also quite good. If you have specific preferences, you can communicate with the bartender, and they can adjust the sweetness and sourness for you. If you're unsure what to drink, ask for recommendations. Overall, the service and food quality were exceptional, and I personally think the value for money is very high. I highly recommend everyone try it out!
