The dining space inside this restaurant is very large, spacious, and comfortable. The decor is also bright and has a bit of a traditional teahouse vibe, combining both modern and retro elements. It’s a type of restaurant that isn’t very common in Taitung.
The types of food offered are very diverse, including hot pot, Taiwanese set meals, noodle soups, fried rice, and more. On the other side of the menu, there’s a full selection of drinks, similar to Chun Shui Tang, but here you have many more options when it comes to food.
I ordered the curry pork chop rice this time. Initially, I didn’t have high expectations for a pork chop coming from a place that isn’t solely dedicated to selling curry pork chops, but I was pleasantly surprised; the pork chop here is really tasty. Firstly, the meat is very thick and juicy. Although it isn’t as thick as what you would find in a dedicated pork chop restaurant, the feedback you get from each bite is absolutely beyond expectation. You can really appreciate the chewiness of the meat, and paired with the rich curry, it adds another layer of flavor to the pork chop. The meal also comes with soup, white rice, and a side dish.
Although the overall price is on the higher side, the dining space and the delicious food make consumers feel that it is worth it.
