Normal business hours will resume afterwards.
San Ma Chou Chou Hot Pot Songshan Raohe Branch is located within Raohe Night Market, about a five-minute walk from Songshan MRT Station.
Today, I took out the Duck Treasure Pot, priced at 160 TWD.
Duck Treasure Pot:
The menu lists it as a medicinal hot pot (duck), but the staff always refer to it as Duck Treasure.
The soup base is quite light, with a slight sweetness and a hint of duck flavor.
As for the ingredients, they are common hot pot items, fairly standard. Notably, the vegetables include a type of water spinach, which is less common in small hot pots besides cabbage.
Regarding the duck treasure, there is a good amount of duck meat, and the pieces are quite large, but this comes with the drawback of having quite a few bones, so one must be careful while eating.
The rich flavor of the duck is quite satisfying, and the texture of the duck blood soaked in the broth is delicate and smooth.
The meatballs among the ingredients seem to be duck meatballs, providing a standard deliciousness.
Overall, this is a well-known small hot pot chain that is fairly standard.
The restaurant environment is spacious, clean, and neat, and the dining flow is also good.
Dine-in customers can enjoy refillable drinks, making it a great choice while strolling through Raohe Street.
Highly recommended to everyone!
