When you come to Yibin, Sichuan, you definitely have to try the most famous Yibin Ran Noodles. I don't know why it's called Ran Noodles, but any dish named after a place basically has to be tried; whether it's good or not is secondary, it's about the experience of being there.

I won't mention much about the simple environment of the street-side shop. There is a rich variety of noodle dishes, and they also have "Bōbó Chicken." The shop's name is Li's Liangpi, so I ordered Liangpi as well. The noodles are soft and chewy with enough flavor, and the Ran Noodles are also quite flavorful; they're generally not bad but nothing particularly special either.
