❤️There are over 70 locations of Genki Sushi in Hong Kong, which is my choice for late-night dining in the city. Each post will include actual dining photos, even if it's just a photo of a drink, to avoid users pretending to dine without showing the food. Overall evaluation: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
📍This location is on Connaught Road Central in Central, and there are plenty of seats available as well as restroom facilities.
🚗 It's recommended to take the MTR to the Central A station exit, and it's just a 1-minute walk from the station (you need to take the elevator to the 1st floor, which means the second floor in Taiwan).
💬 I originally wanted to find something to eat in IFC, but most of the shops were already closing, so I moved over to Central Station area to see if there was any food available. Nearby, even Yoshinoya was closing for the night, so I ended up choosing this Genki Sushi.
The whole environment is very clean and tidy, and after several days of dining at tea restaurants and dessert shops, I finally found a restaurant that has toilet paper.
I have never dined at Genki Sushi in Japan and there aren't any branches in Taiwan. If you’ve seen a train delivering food, this is the place!
The ordering process is very simple; you just need to scan the QR code on the table, and the food will be delivered to your hands via the train. However, this time I was seated at a non-train seat, so I couldn't see the train coming, but the staff still delivered the sushi to the table.
Overall, the food is quite fresh, especially the shellfish which made me order two more plates. Some sushi combinations are on special, and the restaurant even has cute sushi plates with funny jokes written on them, just like the jokes you have to see when drinking milk tea at a breakfast shop, making you unknowingly order more.
(Though the light above our table has a different color temperature (bluish), so the photos make it look like raw meat in a cold storage...)
