The friendly LGBTQ+ brunch at Ximen transforms into a bar dance floor at night. They have an amazing brunch platter that will definitely fill you up, perfect for guys with big appetites to take on the challenge.
Personally, I visited during the lunch hour for brunch; I haven't had the chance to experience the dance floor atmosphere at night yet 😂 so I'll focus on the lunch dining experience for my review!
The restaurant is located on the second floor of Kunming Street in Ximen, and it’s usually packed during the weekends. The interior is very cozy, with colorful lights illuminating the dining area, giving the feel of being in a fantastical purplish-red bubble. There are also cute wall murals of bears and other animals (like dogs and wolves).
Oh, and yes, they really have an older dog there, super well-behaved and cute, but not very interactive.
The servers are two strong guys with buzz cuts, and they definitely seem like they would become the center of attention on the dance floor at night 🔥. The service is fast, and the seating arrangement is efficient.

As for the food, the brunch platter comes in “medium” and “large” sizes indicated on different pages, and the large portion is genuinely huge! It features a combination of French toast, burgers, European bread, and main dish options like sous-vide chicken, grilled chicken thighs, and omelettes, with many flavor choices available.
I ordered the chicken thigh platter with European bread and Thai spicy sauce. When the platter arrived, I was amazed by the variety of ingredients, and almost everything was served in its original form.
“12 Oz European Toast Thai Spicy Chicken Platter”
I can only say the portion was incredibly generous; just looking at it was satisfying! I suggest starting with the lettuce, and then enjoying the spicy chicken while it’s hot along with the other items; a guy can easily get 80-90% full from this.
The spicy chicken thigh was very tender and juicy, and the Thai sauce was wonderfully tangy and spicy, enhancing the flavor and cutting the richness; it’s one of my favorite main dishes. The other sides were fresh and delicious, and the fried king oyster mushrooms were the perfect finishing touch!
My friend's ketchup chicken breast platter was quite good too; the chicken breast wasn’t too dry, and the ketchup was made with real tomatoes, showing careful cooking skills. But compared to the chicken breast, I still preferred my Thai spicy chicken!
However, my friend's French toast was insanely soft! It was thick and incredibly fluffy, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that dazzled us! 🍞✨
As for drinks, the restaurant doesn’t hold back—they serve huge cups. We were shocked when they brought out 1000cc iced tea, which was refreshing and easy to drink, but we couldn’t finish it all and had to take some home, haha.

Overall, this is a brunch spot with a high cost-performance ratio. It feels like they've designed the menu and portion sizes for fitness enthusiasts 💪.
During the day, they cater to various customers, including families, children, and couples, creating a very comfortable dining environment. By night, it may transform into a completely different scene! 🪩
