This time, I came here for a family gathering during the weekdays, so there weren't many customers when we entered. However, I’ve seen it packed during weekends, indicating that the business must be good.
The menu offers a huge variety of choices, probably over a hundred! It takes quite a while to decide while browsing through it. Some share platters allow you to pick 2-3 types of fried items at a lower price, and there are combo sets available as well.
I chose the steak dish, “Cherry Duck Breast,” which is made fresh upon order, so there was a longer wait. The chicken Caesar salad and fried platter came out quite quickly.
🥗 The vegetables used in the salad were good, and the chicken wasn’t dry, making it an appetizing choice.
🍟 My favorite from the fried platter was the fried potato fries, which had a bit of skin on them. They were crispy and flavorful, quite delicious. The fried fish sticks and cheese sticks were also up to standard.
🦆 The cherry duck breast took about 20 minutes, but I must say it was definitely worth the wait! The duck breast was enormous, cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and served already sliced. You could see a beautiful, even pink color, indicating just the right doneness. It was thick, juicy, and did not have the gamey taste that duck sometimes has, with the seasoning being absolutely perfect. I’d give it 100 points 💯
As for drinks, since I was dining with family, I didn’t try any alcoholic beverages, but their cherry cola was great. They didn't overload it with ice, so a full glass of cola was refreshing, and it paired well with the cherry duck and fried items!
Overall, it’s a superb American bistro with great atmosphere and food. If I have friends over for a gathering or want to watch a baseball game, this place is really suitable for some casual dining and drinks!
