At first glance, this bento seems like a classic dish overflowing with rich flavors, but upon the first bite, I was immediately shocked by the intense saltiness. The whole piece of belly beef feels as if it has soaked in a barrel of soy sauce, almost masking the original aroma of the beef. Additionally, since the belly beef itself is rich in fat, without sufficient refreshing side dishes or dipping sauces to balance it out, it becomes quite greasy towards the end. Even when paired with white rice, it's difficult to balance this excessively heavy flavor.

📌 Tokyo Style Beef Steak Hot Pot
Compared to the bento, this hot pot dish is slightly more impressive. The broth is also on the salty side, but the smoothness of the egg combined with the tenderness of the steak adds a complex layer to the dish. There's a subtle warmth amid the saltiness, allowing for a few more bites. The beef steak is decent, retaining some chewiness after absorbing the broth, and when paired with vegetables and white rice, it becomes relatively balanced compared to other dishes of the day.

Super hard and super dry, I really doubt whether the chef is paying attention at the fryer.

To be honest, this dining experience was more disappointing than expected. While the unlimited refills of shredded cabbage and miso soup were the only good points, the restaurant clearly lags behind other branches in terms of dish seasoning, service process, and overall atmosphere. The dishes not only lack depth, but they also tend to leave diners feeling thirsty and greasy, raising doubts about whether the chefs still have a passion for cooking.

This meal ended hastily and left no memorable impressions.

I suggest avoiding this branch or considering visiting branches in Taipei or other areas to avoid leaving a regrettable impression of the brand. As for the Hanshin Arena location, perhaps it is only suitable for "trying once" and that’s enough.
