Osaka Kitu Market - A big bowl of seafood rice with generous portions, allowing you to enjoy the largest and freshest sashimi directly. I recommend ordering the "donburi"; the sushi is just ordinary.

We arrived around 10 AM and waited in line outside for about 20 minutes. During the wait, the staff provided the menu, and I used Google Translate to take pictures of it. While in line, the staff came to ask what we wanted to order.

You can choose three items, and we selected "tuna, salmon, and salmon roe," accompanied by a bowl of miso soup. The portion is really large, and the sashimi is incredibly fresh; the tuna is super tender and melts in your mouth! The salmon is also delicious! The salmon roe is a bit salty, and due to the large portion, I found it a bit overwhelming towards the end.
🔻 Critique: The price listed on the seafood donburi menu was ¥2750, but when we checked out, I found out the price had actually increased to ¥3300.

A luxurious set of 13 pieces of nigiri sushi, which looks great in photos. Each ingredient is just a small piece, allowing you to taste different types of seafood without it being too overwhelming. Unfortunately, the nigiri sushi didn't impress me; the vinegar rice was a bit loose, and they didn’t put wasabi on the rice beforehand. They offer a lump of wasabi on the side, but I don't think it's true natural wasabi; it tastes more like a chemical version, quite pungent and spicy. The miso soup was just average, lacking any highlights.

🔹 The shop space is not very large and feels a bit cramped, with a capacity for about 15 people.
🔹 There is tea available, but you need to serve yourself and operate the machine.

▶️ Overall Evaluation
🔹 One meal costs about 730 NTD, which is somewhat pricey. However, if you want to enjoy fresh and large portions, this place in Kitu Market is a good choice! I noticed many customers ordered the donburi, as this place is more about enjoying seafood casually. I recommend ordering the donburi and choosing the seafood you want to eat. Personally, I don't think the quality of the sushi is that good, so I wouldn't recommend ordering it!
