"Store Exploration Series"
There are always people queuing up at this ramen shop on Xinmei Street. I have always wanted to try it. I passed by it at noon that day and found that it was actually open. When I came to ask the store, it seemed that Google couldn't change the business hours, so they are now open during the day~ ~
"Taro Chinese Ramen" specializes in vegan ramen. I didn't know it at first and when I came in and started ordering, I realized, wow, it's actually vegan 😂😂
Although the banner on the outside says vegan, I have never eaten vegan ramen until now.
You can tell from the outside that the store is really not big, it can accommodate about 7 people, and the boss works alone, so it will take a while to wait. There was no one at the time we went, so we booked the place directly❤️
The furnishings in the store are in a traditional Japanese style, with various posters of characters on the walls, giving it the feeling of being in a local Japanese store. Water is provided next to the refrigerator, and various condiments are provided in front of the bar. But the music played in very Japanese stores is
George Lam - Twelve Inches, Leslie Cheung - A Girl's Thoughts
It feels like being in a Japanese store but walking out the door is Hong Kong
Quite an interesting thing.
Sesame miso ramen 💰210
The one I ordered has barbecued pork. The soup base is made with soy milk and miso. It has a strong aroma of fermented bean curd. A large amount of bean sprout leaves and a little sesame are added to enhance the aroma. The soup tastes quite delicious. Because it’s not so salty that I can’t help but finish the soup quickly. Instead of barbecued pork, I used vegetarian meat made from tofu. I have always thought that vegetarian meat is a very amazing invention. I usually think that vegetarian meat is unpalatable. The vegetarian food here The meat doesn’t have that weird smell. It’s okay if you don’t eat vegetarian meat. Once you eat it, you miss the plump barbecued pork🤣
Truffle Soy Sauce Ramen
The soup is refreshing and has a truffle aroma. Although it is based on soy sauce, it is not too rich or overly salty. If you like a refreshing and fragrant meal, this dish is highly recommended. If you like a heavier taste, I recommend miso. series
Oden 💰100
Oden is spicy. I was originally worried that it would be too spicy, but it turned out okay. In summary, the contents of oden include fried tofu, stuffed vegetarian balls, rolled tofu and konjac. Those who like spicy food find it richer and more flavorful. I am not sure if it is vegetarian. The taste itself is light, and the rolled tofu is so good that I feel like I can order extra.
Cold Tofu 💰40
This dish is really, really refreshing. Soy sauce is obviously added, and the taste is so refreshing that it feels like you can drink it.
