Between hunger and satiety, the best choice is often ramen.
Stepping into this ramen shop for the first time, I couldn't help but want to try something spicy, so I ordered a spicy chili flavor.
Although I'm not someone who can handle a lot of spice, having tried the spicy options at several ramen shops, I confidently took on the challenge this time.
However, I was met with a disastrous defeat. 🥹
The spiciness was the kind that accumulates and feels like a lingering heat, not the other kind that is steady and comfortable. 😢
By the end, the accumulation of spice felt somewhat uncomfortable.
My friend ordered a Tokyo tonkotsu and thought the broth was too rich for our taste.
While "rich" might come from simmering large bones (not sure), I still prefer a lighter and fresher taste.
Overall, I think I will choose to eat at a different ramen shop in the future. 😢
