This time, I visited Oat Bar, a health food brand that focuses on "oats as the base." Unlike the usual healthy meal boxes that only offer boiled chicken breast or salads, their menu is very diverse. You can not only have boiled meals but also salads, pizzas, and protein desserts. The idea that "healthy can also be delicious" is quite eye-catching.
However, to be honest, the prices are indeed on the higher side, especially for someone like me who is on a long-term fat loss plan and wants to control the budget while ensuring nutrition. For items like pizza, even if they are made with "healthy methods," the calories and price still make me hesitant. After all, no matter how healthy a pizza is, the crust and cheese are still calorie bombs, and for someone who needs to carefully manage their intake, I really hesitate to try it.
This time, I chose their new spicy chicken breast meal box. Honestly, I really liked this dish. The chicken breast was well-prepared, not dry, and the sauce was mildly spicy without being overly salty, plus it had a refreshing aroma, which is a rare taste enjoyment during the fat loss period. What's even better is that they provided a substantial portion of vegetables that were diverse and colorful, making me feel full while also feeling balanced nutritionally, which is a big plus.
A small highlight is that their eggs are not boiled but made into scrambled eggs, which are soft and creamy without being too greasy. This little thought in a healthy meal is quite charming and really enhances the overall flavor.
Currently, the new product is offered at a promotional price, which I think makes it a reasonable choice balancing price and quality; however, if the price increases to the original after this, it might make people hesitate, especially since there are many competitors.
