Today we visited a restaurant that we had booked in advance, Circolo Popolare. While researching, I discovered that this place has become super popular among influencers in the UK recently. After seeing the photos and food, I was really looking forward to it.

🌟 Truffle Pasta
Highly recommended 💕💕💕
A must-order dish at the restaurant. The truffle flavor is very rich but not overpowering. The pasta they serve features a type of noodle that’s less common in Taiwan, which makes it easy for the sauce to cling to it. Personally, I found it very delicious. However, it does have a slightly chewy texture, which is something I’m not particularly fond of. But that’s a minor issue; it’s still a must-try item.

🌟 Truffle Pizza
This is also a dish that I found extremely tasty. The crust is usually what I dislike the most about pizzas. In Taiwan, I always end up discarding the end of the pizza. But the crust here has an incredible aroma and a slight sweetness that I absolutely love. I highly recommend it.

🌟 Appetizer: Beef Carpaccio with Arugula and Cheese
This dish was also highly recommended online, and everyone said it was delicious. When it was served, I was shocked by the size of the plate, but fortunately, it was very thin, making it easy to enjoy with the arugula and cheese. The raw beef doesn’t have a frightening raw taste, and the combination is just right.

🌟 Steak and Fried Potatoes
We chose the steak to be cooked medium, but I think it might be better at medium-rare because the medium steak was a bit dry and tough, which was a pity. The fried potatoes were quite sweet and tasty.

Overall, it’s a restaurant that makes you want to come back because the truffle dishes are just too delicious 🤤. Next time, I’ll just skip the steak! The decor of the whole place is really beautiful and will surely attract photo lovers to take endless pictures. Even the various plates will make you want to snap a photo. It’s definitely an Instagram-worthy restaurant! 👍
