This place is one of the rare Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants. The owner is Vietnamese, so you can enjoy different Vietnamese vegetarian dishes and flavors that are usually not found elsewhere. It feels like the dishes have been adjusted to suit Taiwanese tastes, but still retain their Vietnamese characteristics. Today I had rice noodles, especially the dry rice noodles that have a great flavor. The rice noodles with Thai basil, shredded green papaya, and other spices are perfect for summer. I also ordered a vegetable meat patty that I've never tried before; it has a texture I’ve never experienced before, and it pairs really well with vegetables and green papaya, making it very refreshing. I’ve previously ordered Vietnamese rice rolls and fried spring rolls, which I highly recommend. They are Vietnamese dishes that are hard to find in other vegetarian restaurants, and they also offer fried rice and other options. It’s better to come in a group to sample a variety of dishes because the portion sizes are generous. If you're looking to change things up, this is definitely a place worth trying.
