The café that just opened in the middle of last year, although it’s quite new nearby, has a bit of a Japanese-style feel. The interior is dimly lit with warm yellow light, creating a special atmosphere. I had seen a friend visit before and really liked the style, so I saved it in my list. This time, I happened to visit when it opened in the afternoon and ordered the following.
▪️Strawberry Cream Chiffon $170
On that day, there were only two chiffon flavors: Earl Grey and Strawberry. Unfortunately, I’m not fond of Earl Grey, and I’m quite indifferent towards Strawberry as well, but since there were no other items I was interested in, I chose Strawberry. The chiffon was average, and the cream was smooth and not greasy. The strawberry was actually quite tasty, large, and slightly sweet and sour, but I still found it a bit bland overall. However, it’s just so cute! 😂
▪️Caramel Milk Pudding $120
▪️Caramel Matcha Pudding $140
Pudding is one of my favorite items at cafés, and this one has a creamy texture rather than a chewy one, which I really like. It’s similar to crème brûlée but much thicker, and the caramel is a bitter-sweet type that’s delicious. It was so good that I ordered the matcha one as well; it had just the right balance—not too bitter or sweet, and the texture was even reminiscent of eating a Basque cake. Lastly, the topping that I thought was whipped cream had a slight salty taste like a milk cap, adding a perfect finishing touch.
▪️Caramel Crunch Milk $150
▪️Caramel Crunch Latte $160
The caramel has a thick layer with more of a brown sugar flavor, which pairs well with both the milk and the latte. The coffee is smooth, and the sweetness comes from the caramel layer on top. The milk foam above is very fragrant~
Overall, I think it's great to sit here for three hours on a weekend when it’s full. You can relax and take your time. There are power outlets, but the lighting is a bit dim, so it’s not suitable for working on a computer or reading unless you happen to sit by the window. The decor is unique, the staff are friendly, and I would only recommend trying their pudding over the chiffon. Just sharing for your reference.
