I've eaten at Matsuya quite a few times, and since it was getting late in this area and I didn't know what to eat, I decided to get takeout. They are open 23 hours, basically only closing from 4 AM to 5 AM, which is quite convenient for those who suddenly feel hungry outside of normal meal hours.

▪️Sauce Garlic Chicken and Beef Combo Rice $155
I didn't take a complete photo of the food as I went straight to the MRT after purchasing it, but it looks very much like what's on the menu. I really like their beef, it's quite tender and doesn't have too much fat, just like the donburi. The chicken, on the other hand, is quite ordinary; the reheated chicken thigh has unfortunately lost its tenderness, which is a bit disappointing. However, the overall seasoning of the sauce is excellent! The sauce adds a tangy and creamy flavor alongside the chicken, and it’s super addictive… I couldn't help but want to finish it all.

Overall, the chicken is a bit of a letdown, but I really liked the seasoning. I used to love their curry, which has a strong spiciness, but one time I found it a bit too salty towards the end, so I decided to try a different flavor this time. Their beef donburi is a safe choice, and their operating hours are friendly for everyone; just sharing for reference.
