We were looking for a café with savory food to go to with friends, and we found this one. Thanks to my friend having a scooter, we could go to a place a bit farther away.
We arrived around 6:30. The café is a bit small, and there aren’t many seats, but there weren’t many people at that time. There was a border collie and a blue cat, both very friendly! (When we sat down, the dog would jump up on us.) However, if you're afraid of cats or dogs, this might not be the best place for you.
🌻 Honey Apple Iced Tea $170
It’s good, but a bit pricey.
The iced tea is quite sweet, with a strong apple flavor and some fruit bits. Still, at this price, you could find better options... I might try lower-priced drinks next time.
🌻 Shepherd’s Pie $170
It tastes a lot like lasagna... (but overall it’s delicious).
You can taste the potato in it, and the portion is small, making it more suitable for light eaters or as an afternoon snack. There’s not much seasoning, so the tomato flavor is more pronounced.
If you like meat sauce, you might want to give it a try.
🌻 Earl Grey Basque Cheesecake $140
So! Good!
You can taste the tea without it being too strong. The sauce on top reminds me of vanilla ice cream when I eat it; the sweetness is just right. Highly recommended!
If you prefer a moderate tea flavor, you should give it a try; I personally loved it!
My friend ordered the Vienna iced coffee and a vegetarian wild mushroom pie, and she recommends them.
But I thought that pie tasted a lot like a vegetable and egg cake...
