✹ Akijo Café ✹
Not sure how to categorize this place? Coffee shop? Dessert shop? Curated goods store?
The decor alone is very distinctive, and the furniture, dishes, and other items used here also have a vibrant style—slightly psychedelic and avant-garde yet still cute ( •̀ᴗ•́ ) ̖́-
The shop uses QR codes for ordering
In addition to drinks and desserts, they also have handmade items
Such as lighters, ashtrays, keychains, etc.
The interior can accommodate about 20 people
It’s not as small as you might imagine
The selected furniture is very unique
Like the inflatable jelly-like sofa and thick acrylic tabletops
It definitely grabs your attention (´o̴̶̷ωo̴̶̷`)
The curated goods are so cute that it's hard not to buy something
The staff are also very friendly and helpful
It’s a very comfortable atmosphere! (˶◜ᵕ◝˶)
The main attractions are the desserts and drinks
This time, I ordered:
🥛 Caramel Milk $120
🍰 Earl Grey Mille-feuille $170
The utensils used for the drinks are very cute
The caramel aroma is rich without being overly sweet
The layers in the mille-feuille are impressive
The Earl Grey flavor is also just right
It doesn’t feel heavy
The layers are distinct, and the pairing of the pastry and cream is excellent
Overall, it’s superb ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
Out of five stars, I would give 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
The only downside was that the seat I sat in wasn't very comfortable in terms of height; otherwise, I want to give full marks 💯
‼️ Other little details
‼️ Minimum spend of one drink for dine-in
‼️ Occasionally hosts fun little events, like DJ parties
(I happened to visit during a promotion where you could exchange something for a lighter✌🏻)
