Located at the back lower part of the National Concert Hall of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, GLÖ FROYO quietly started its trial operation in early July, offering self-service frozen yogurt as its main attraction. The environment is new and quite similar to YOGO, where you control the portion and add your own toppings.

During the trial operation period (from July 2 to July 8), they offered a 20% discount. The original price was 1g = 1 NTD. I squeezed out about one and a half loops of frozen yogurt, added two pieces of brownie, blueberry sauce, and mulberries, and the total at checkout was 144 NTD (after the discount), which means the original price was approximately close to 180 NTD. Although the frozen yogurt itself is smooth and not overly sweet, with a balanced tanginess, the overall price is indeed on the high side.

The yogurt flavor is pronounced, with acidity slightly stronger than sweetness, providing a refreshing and not heavy eating experience. While the variety of toppings is complete, the brownie and fruit sauces are on the sweeter side. It is recommended to choose more acidic fruits as toppings to avoid too many high-sugar ingredients to truly enjoy the balanced flavor of the frozen yogurt.

The space and location are GLÖ FROYO's greatest advantages. It is conveniently located right behind the concert hall, making it a nice stop for those who want a refreshing dessert after a music concert or for tourists who are wandering around during the day and looking for a comfortable place to rest.

Overall, even though GLÖ FROYO's pricing is relatively high, if you already love frozen yogurt or are sightseeing around the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, this place can be considered as part of the "attraction dessert." It’s not an everyday affordable option, but as an experiential treat or an occasional little luxury, it is quite acceptable.
