Perfe’ dough is the Italian phonetic combination of the words "perfect" and "dough." The shop hopes to create perfect dough for everyone to enjoy, offering not only donuts and desserts but also coffee and some antiques and favorite utensils, reminiscent of a Japanese select shop. This well-known donut shop has been around for several years, and the new store on the first floor is clean, bright, and beautiful.
If I remember correctly, the owner fell in love with this type of donut while studying in England, which inspired them to dive into learning and eventually open their own shop. They even made it through the pandemic, which is truly impressive.
Due to its popularity, the front was busy with customers, and only the original flavor was available after a ten-minute wait; all other flavors would take over thirty minutes. Due to time constraints, I could only try the original flavor first. During the wait, the shop noticed they had an extra batch of blueberry donuts, so they bought some to try.
The original flavor does not have filling, but it is quite tasty right out of the oven—chewy and increasingly fragrant and sweet with each bite. The blueberry is rich and delicious. The shop insists on using good ingredients, which makes the prices a bit higher and requires a wait, but it's a great shop worth supporting.
