The long-awaited beverage shop that I saw recommended on Instagram has a primarily gray and metallic aesthetic, with a simple and refined style. On a weekday afternoon, there weren’t too many people, and the drinks were made quite quickly.
What makes them special is that they offer five different flavors of sugar to choose from, which can be sampled on-site; they all smell delicious. I picked my favorite sugar first and then chose my drink. After some hesitation, I ordered the Lugu Red Oolong Milk Tea with Golden Osmanthus Extract, less ice, and three parts sugar. I was also quite tempted by the longan flavor.
It tasted pretty sweet, feeling a bit sweeter than other hand-shaken drinks, but I found it quite enjoyable (I tend to prefer it sweeter). If I get the chance to drink it again, I might go for one part sugar. My friend ordered the same drink but chose a different type of sugar; the difference in taste wasn’t super noticeable, and they thought it was okay.
The drink size is quite small, about the size of a medium cup at a typical hand-shaken drink shop, which makes it feel a bit expensive. They currently only accept cash, and the shop is located near a roundabout with not much parking available, so I had to drive around a bit to find a street parking space before walking over.
