Reviewer with Braces: There is a restroom
Hey Mate Breakfast is a popular brunch spot in Yilan City. The restaurant is pet-friendly, but if you're driving, you might need to spend a little extra time looking for a parking spot. The business is good, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fairly relaxed.
This time, I ordered a peanut butter pork chop burger with an egg (70 NT), peanut toast (30 NT), tuna salad egg pancake (65 NT), taro nut egg pancake (65 NT), a homemade burger patty burger with an egg (90 NT), three-cup braised pork mini buns, a hash brown, a latte, and unsweetened soy milk. The filling of the tuna salad egg pancake is quite rich, and the seasoning is different from the usual tuna egg pancakes, making it enjoyable rather than monotonous. The sweetness of the taro nut egg pancake is moderate and not overly cloying, complemented by the rich texture of the nuts. The homemade burger patty burger is juicy, and the bun is of decent quality.
Overall, the meal quality is stable and reliable, and the service attitude is friendly. However, the prices are slightly higher than average for Yilan, but considering the content of the meals and the environment, it's still within a reasonable range.
