This is considered a very famous breakfast place in the area. If you come too late in the morning, you will likely have to wait a long time! The staff is very quick, and the table turnover rate is quite high. It’s a great place for those who want to try local Hawaiian breakfast.
Today, we ordered some authentic Hawaiian dishes.
❤️Loco Moco
This dish consists of a hamburger patty topped with two sunny-side-up eggs, placed over white rice, or you can choose fried rice! I was worried that fried rice might not suit our Asian taste, so I opted for white rice! The most unique part of the meal was their sauce, which had a slight meat sauce flavor but also resembled a rich sauce made from mashed potatoes! Overall, the combination of flavors is quite special and definitely worth a try!
❤️Eggs Florentine
When I looked it up, I thought this dish was just Eggs Benedict! However, when it arrived, it looked more like a baked dish made with spinach and bacon! It came with small pieces of toast that seemed to be baked with butter and coconut, crispy and fragrant with a slight sweetness! Eating it together with the eggs was quite tasty!
Overall, I would still recommend it! However, I was a bit surprised that such a breakfast place didn’t offer lattes! So if you absolutely need a cup of coffee in the morning, you might be a bit disappointed. Aside from that, I think everything else was quite good! The portions are on the larger side, so if you have a smaller appetite, it's advisable to share! I'm looking forward to everyone trying more other dishes to share with me!
