Share this buffet restaurant - Far East CAFÉ. It is located on the sixth floor of Far East Shangri-La in Taipei. This time we had a meal on a weekday afternoon, and it was almost full.
My personal favorite is its desserts, sashimi and Indian food! I can share a few dishes!
Dessert area
-Fruit Fresh Cream Cake-The sponge cake is quite average, the fresh cream is thick and easy to get greasy, at least there are a lot of fruits inside and they are fresh fruits.
- Blackcurrant Chocolate Cake - It's a bit like a dacquoise cake. The chocolate sauce in the middle is okay, but there is only a little blackcurrant jam on the upper layer. It's not greasy with the jam, and it's okay.
-Olive oil chocolate cake-the texture is a relatively soft sponge cake, the cocoa flavor is strong and it is the least sweet chocolate cake, optional
-Brownie - brownie with smooth texture, not too sweet and good
-Matcha Oberla-Today’s No. 1 dessert! The bitterness and sweetness of the cake are present, and the texture of the cake ranges from crispy to soft, not bad!
-Cheese cake-it's full of cheese flavor, and the lower biscuit base is also good.
-Apricot peach tart-The tart skin is crispy and crispy, and you can eat the pulp in the middle. It is simple and delicious! Second place today
-Chocolate cake-The chocolate cake is a soft sponge cake body, the chocolate sauce is not too sweet, it is quite satisfactory.
-Mongolian fried dumplings with apple sauce - Fried dumplings have a very solid dough texture, a bit like donuts, and have a sweet and sour taste with apple sauce, but they don’t necessarily have to be paired together.
indian area
-Indian spice balls-the outer shell is crispy, and the inside is filled with something crunchy like peanuts. The sauce, whether it is vanilla sauce, yogurt sauce or rooibos sauce, is all good! Indian pickles are spicy
-Indian Spiced Milk Tea-5 points of sweetness but not greasy, delicious spice flavor!
- Mutton Curry - The minced lamb has a very fragrant mutton flavor, and the spiciness with a little spice is not bad!
-Curry dumplings-the skin is thick, a little oily, and there is not much potato inside
-Seafood curry-it is dry-fried, there are small octopuses in it, but the spice flavor is not that obvious
-Turmeric rice-dry, with distinct grains
- Indian naan - thick and chewy, with a light creamy aroma
-Red kidney bean curry-Red kidney beans taste good! It also has a spicy and slightly spicy flavor which is great!
Raw and cold Japanese area
- Sashimi - excellent! All cut super thick and super fresh! Salmon is fat and delicious. And it’s cut super thick. Grilled bonito is also delicious!
-Hand rolls-You can choose from diced salmon, fresh shrimps, lobster salad, etc., served with alfalfa sprouts, very good!
Generally speaking, there are no outstanding dishes. The afternoon tea has a wide range of items and is of good quality. If the price is favorable, it is worth a return visit!
