I actually don't have much impression of goose meat; I personally feel that duck meat is more common. The dining environment is simple but quite clean. On the day we dined, there weren’t many customers, and the speed of service was relatively fast. The two of us ordered half a sliced goose, cold marinated goose intestines, goose meatball soup, Yu Li dry noodles, and a bowl of goose oil rice.
The staff noticed that there were only two of us and suggested we order a little less, worried that we might not finish. Later, they helped us change the goose meat platter to a portion of goose breast for about 480 NT dollars, which I thought was quite thoughtful, and they also informed us of the price beforehand. Sometimes I have a bit of fear when restaurants charge by weight; it can be surprising when the bill comes, especially when you have no idea what to expect.
The goose meat was sliced very thinly, and the texture was delicate; it was tender and not dry. The first bite was surprising. The Yu Li dry noodles also had a few slices of goose meat mixed in, providing a chewy texture. The goose meatball soup was refreshing, and I initially had little interest in the goose intestines, but after trying them, I thought they were quite good. I found the portion sizes to be just right, and I felt quite full after the meal.
Overall, the dining experience was pretty good; the staff's attitude was also nice. It's just that I'm not used to seeing this kind of restaurant at this price point.
