Located in Tokyo's Tsukiji, "SUSHIKUNI" was also found in my Google reviews, and as soon as I saw their sea urchin rice bowl, I was determined to try it. I specially came to Tsukiji to eat it. I ordered the "Ganso Kobore Uni Don," which probably means it's overflowing with sea urchin XD. This dish costs 6,500 yen, which is a bit pricey, but compared to finding "delicious sea urchin" in Taiwan, it's absolutely worth the price. Each bite allows you to experience the freshness of the ingredients and the rich flavors.
The amount of sea urchin is very generous, nearly filling the entire bowl. Its texture is creamy and silky, melting in your mouth with no fishy taste at all. The most satisfying moment is when the freshness and sweetness explode in your mouth simultaneously, providing an unparalleled experience. Compared to Japanese restaurants in Taiwan, the sea urchin rice bowl here has a significant difference; it truly has higher quality and a richer experience.
Overall, the sea urchin rice bowl at SUSHIKUNI is impressive in both portion and flavor. However, to be honest, I "strongly do not recommend" coming to this restaurant. Once again, I "strongly, strongly do not recommend" coming here. I waited for over an hour to eat, so please don't visit anymore; I'm afraid there will be even more people next time and I won't be able to eat it again.
