I visited a café that just opened at Sky Building on April 14☕️
It's called KINO CAFE and is located on the first floor of the Sky Building, which has a pretty good location🏙️
Since I went during Golden Week, the café and the outside were lively with events and such 🥰
It was a brand-new café and really beautiful✨
There are table seats, sunken kotatsu seats, and counter seats, with the counter seats also having power outlets available🔌
For the seasonal rice dish🍚, I had a mixed rice with hijiki seaweed and carrots, topped with plenty of shirasu (white bait)🍚. It was filling, and the saltiness of the shirasu was delicious🐟.
The Mitarashi pancakes🥞 were a recommended menu item from this shop✨. They consisted of special pancakes layered with chewy, thin rice cakes, topped with fluffy roasted marshmallows and plenty of special Mitarashi maple sauce. It looked super cute from the presentation 🥰. The fluffy pancakes with lots of roasted marshmallows and the rice cakes between the pancakes created a visual I had never seen before!! I ate it with the Mitarashi maple syrup, and it was a unique sweet and salty flavor that I had never tasted before‼️ The freshly roasted marshmallows were fragrant and gooey; the pancakes were fluffy with a hint of salt, and the rice cakes were chewy. The Mitarashi maple syrup was sweet and salty, and everything came together deliciously 🥰. I think it would be easy to enjoy for people who love sweets, as well as for those who aren’t fond of sweets✨.
The Berry Berry Lemonade🫐🍋 was a colorful cocktail made with refreshing lemonade combined with various berries. It was filled with berries and had a bright red color❤️. The sweet and sour flavor of the berries and lemon was delicious and refreshing; I thought it was a perfect drink for the upcoming season🫐🍋.
While there is a variety of pancakes and drinks, they also serve soba and donburi dishes, so it’s a place where you can enjoy both meals and sweets✨.
I already want to try other menu items as well✨.
