Located on the 5th floor of the Dazhi Chongtai Le Life, this popular Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant emphasizes freshly made dishes that are hard to enjoy without a reservation. The environment is clean, bright, and comfortable, with quick service, but the 70-minute time limit feels a bit rushed.
In addition to common Hong Kong dim sums (like large, plump siu mai and shrimp dumplings, tender beef tripe, ribs, and well-seasoned large intestine), there are many unique signature dim sums. For instance, the radish mille-feuille pastry (which has radish shreds and puree inside the layers) has a very special texture and is delicious. The conpoy and squid dumplings with melon filling (which have a rich filling that blends harmoniously) are also notable. There's also the "Spring Breeze Roll" (the rice noodle roll paired with a texture similar to fried dough sticks and shrimp, offering a rich layer of textures that I really enjoy). As for desserts, the custard bun has a rich, oozing filling, the limited-edition pudding is so rich it resembles cheese, and the sesame paste is quite tasty. Overall, the flavors are quite good, though the prices are somewhat reflective of that quality.
