📍 Location and Transportation: Pho Vietnamese Delicious is located in the famous lanes of Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road, in Taipei's Eastern District. The nearest MRT exit is Exit 3 of Zhongxiao Dunhua Station, about a 4-minute walk away. Parking is not allowed on both sides of the lane.
🏠 Space: The interior decoration of the store is very simple, with approximately 44 small tables for four on both sides. The seats in the front section fill up quickly during lunchtime. For customers arriving late, the restaurant will open the seats in the back section; however, the air conditioning is weaker there, so it might get a little sweaty.
💰 Ordering and Payment: After marking your order on the menu, you can go to the counter to pay. Cash, as well as StreetPay and WeChat Pay, are accepted.
🍽️ Meals: During peak hours, the delivery speed is acceptable. The restaurant provides cold lemon-infused water.
I ordered the Vietnamese clam soup noodles: The broth is clear and sweet, accompanied by onions, bean sprouts, and Thai basil leaves, paired with slightly chewy rice noodles. The clams are large, but there are only 4-5 pieces; the portion is quite sufficient for women to feel full. If you prefer stronger flavors, I recommend adding condiments (garlic fish sauce and chili sauce). I went for a lighter taste and only added lemon (there are small pieces cut for you to squeeze yourself), and I personally really liked the sourness added to the broth.
The stir-fried rice noodles with pork: The seasoning is moderate and not too salty. The portion of rice noodles is also quite enough; besides the noodles soaked in the broth, there are also cabbage and bean sprouts. The amount of sliced pork is reasonable, but the downside is that the flavor is a bit monotonous; I also recommend adding lemon.
Stir-fried water spinach: It is crispy and refreshing; I highly recommend ordering it, as the portion is sufficient for 2-3 people to share.
