This was my first time eating here, and it was delicious! 😋 No wonder there are so many people every time I pass by; they also offer delivery, but they only accept cash. The food was served very quickly; it arrived shortly after I placed my order, which is great if you’re in a hurry. During my meal, I saw many returning customers dining in and taking out, which shows it’s quite popular. Although they’re open every day, sometimes when I pass by, the shop is closed; they might occasionally have unexpected closures, so if you want to eat here, you might need to take a chance.
This time, I ordered shredded chicken rice noodles for $130, sweet and sour chicken thigh for $160, and papaya salad for $70. The two of us girls were very full. The portion sizes for the rice noodles and chicken rice were quite generous, and all three dishes were delicious—highly recommended! 👍
The broth of the rice noodles was fresh and sweet, not too salty, with a perfect flavor. Adding some lemon juice gave it a bit of tartness that was very appetizing. What's rare is that the shredded chicken rice noodles had a lot of vegetables. I focus on balanced nutrition and always need to eat veggies. Usually, outside rice noodle dishes only have soup and noodles with a bit of meat, but this place included green vegetables and bean sprouts, plus there was plenty of chicken. It’s really balanced and quite filling. After finishing the soup, I didn’t feel thirsty, so they probably didn’t add too much MSG. It was really good.
The sweet and sour chicken thigh was fried, and the meat was tender and not too dry; it was also very tasty. Underneath it was a layer of shredded cabbage, which is more vegetables. This restaurant pays great attention to balanced nutrition in their main dishes, with both meat and vegetables.
