I ordered a bowl of beef offal soup today for $100,
plain rice for $10,
a small dish of cucumber for $40,
totaling $150.
The amount of cucumber on this plate is really small... and it costs $40...
The ingredients in the beef offal soup are mostly some beef innards,
not exactly cheap,
the broth is a bit bland, with a weak beef flavor,
maybe it’s because they added some spice,
along with some fragrant basil,
so it’s not too hard to drink!
The bowl of rice costs $10, and I served it myself,
the amount of offal and cucumbers is really too little,
so I filled the rice bowl to the top,
this way I won’t get hungry.
This place has been open for almost ten years,
the business has always been mediocre,
it’s really impressive that they’ve managed to stick around!
The boss's attitude isn't very friendly, he's a bit cocky,
when chatting before,
he bragged about how great of a chef he used to be,
constantly praising himself, haha~
There are lots of places selling food near the processing area,
across from a lamb shop, diagonally across is a chicken rice shop, and on the other side is a Thai stir-fry place,
their business is so much better than this one, and they are much tastier,
I only come to this place when I feel like having beef soup.
There are quite a few beef stir-fry shops in Daliao as well, and they are also tastier than this one.
In summary,
the broth of the beef offal soup is at best passable,
the stir-fry is average,
there are too many stir-fry shops around here,
each one is booming in business and tastes great,
so this beef offal shop can’t compete.
Moreover, the portion here is small,
because this area is filled with people working in the industrial zone,
everyone works hard and needs a decent meal.
There’s no comment yet.
