Fukushotei can be considered a famous Japanese set meal chain. I don't come here often because I feel the selection is quite limited, mostly focusing on pork, while other types of meat are very few or even absent.
This time, I ordered the Japanese-style grilled chicken thigh set meal. There are options to purchase different set combinations, but I didn't find them very appealing, so I didn't add anything. Additionally, both lemon water and miso soup can be refilled freely.
As for the meal itself, the side dishes were just average, probably not my preferred types of sides; the main dish, grilled chicken thigh, was also average—it was quite tender but a bit bland in flavor.
Overall, it's just an average chain Japanese set meal restaurant.
