I visited a sea bream rice shop that I had been to before and found delicious! 🐟
I chose the Makino sea bream rice bowl✨ for 1680 yen. 😊
This sea bream rice is said to be an arrangement of the sea bream rice from Uwajima in Ehime. 🐟
Even within Ehime, it seems that the sea bream rice from Dogo Onsen is quite different. 🐟
The bowl that arrived was really beautiful. ❤️
On top of the rice, there was:
It already had dashi soy sauce applied, but they said it would be delicious with added wasabi too. 💖
The sea bream was cut into small pieces, making it really easy to eat. 🐟
The poppiness of the salmon roe was incredibly tasty. 😍
The rice had a strong flavor of the dashi soy sauce, and when I broke the egg yolk and mixed everything together, it created a different deliciousness. 😊
The crunch of the wakame and green onions, along with the flavor of the bonito and chopped nori, was really delicious. ✨
The wasabi was very tasty, and adding that also made it delicious. 🔥
I also added a sea bream ochazuke (rice in broth) with pickled Kyoto vegetables for 220 yen. 😊
After eating about half, I was told to pour the dashi made from the sea bream bones over it, which I thought allowed for another tasting experience. 😊
I made the ochazuke with the dashi from the sea bream bones, and it was extremely delicious; the ochazuke was absolutely wonderful. 😊
The raw sea bream was slightly cooked, allowing for a different texture to enjoy. 😊
With the addition of the dashi, the ingredients mixed beautifully, and the mixing was very tasty. 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of the bowl. 😍✨
The miso soup used barley miso, and it was very flavorful with great dashi; it was incredibly delicious. 😊✨
The wakame in the ingredients was also delicious. 😊
As for the side dish, the mizuna salad dressed with sesame salt and kombu 🌱 had a solid flavor and was crunchy, making it really tasty. 🌱
It was a popular shop, and customers kept coming in, including many foreign tourists. But it was so delicious that it was understandable. 🐟✨
