There's a small restaurant near Costco in Nantun, Taichung that I hadn't noticed before. I met up with a friend and decided to try it out.
To my surprise, the value for money is quite high—especially in a world where meals often cost over 100 (NTD). For just 190 (NTD), you can get a set meal without any additional service charges. No wonder the turnover rate is high, and the seats are always full.
The fried food is quite good, but everyone should really order a sparkling drink to help with the richness of the meal. Details about dining options are provided below the photos for reference. Additionally, there's shichimi powder and pepper available for everyone to use. If you're near Costco, you should definitely give it a try!
Karaage chicken set 190
Ordered by a friend, the karaage chicken itself is juicy with good quality meat. What’s particularly special is the sauce, which has the aroma of mustard and lemon, making it a delightful surprise while eating.
My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken thigh for 190. I was initially worried that there would be no tempura when the dishes were served, but in the end, everyone was pleasantly surprised. The grilled chicken thigh was tender and chewy, especially the level of grilling on the skin, which was just right and blended perfectly with the sauce.
I ordered the pork chop set meal for 190. The side dishes are served randomly, so the small dishes for the three sets are different. Mine had black fungus, but it didn't have any special flavor—just a crispy texture.
The pork chop in the main dish was large and thick, and the sauce was extremely delicious. Additionally, it came with half a soft-boiled egg, tempura pieces of pumpkin, potato, and zucchini, as well as a piece of broccoli and a wedge of seasoned lemon.
The rice was a bit dry, but overall, the portion was quite filling, especially for a woman. The miso soup contained kelp, and it wasn't too salty. The dessert was lemon aiyu jelly, which was very refreshing.

The pork chop has a very thick texture! There's no feeling of mixed meats or a strong meat smell, it's quite good.
The pork chop sauce tastes similar to the sweet and savory pork chop sauce you get outside. At first, it is very delicious, but as you keep eating and get fuller, it gradually becomes harder to finish.
There are some kelp and green onions in the miso soup.
Black fungus with not much flavor.
The dessert lemon aiyu, the container he used is super cute, it's a cat.
In addition, the fried shiitake mushrooms for 90 yuan come with a drink, and we ordered the grapefruit sparkling drink, which became our lifesaver.
A slice of dried fruit was also added to the sparkling drink for flavor.
There aren't many seats overall, but there is a bar area where you can sit.

吃了好幾年的愛店！每個月都會來一次，配菜永遠都精緻又不一樣～喜歡牛舌的有機會要試一次～應該是澳洲牛舌不是日本牛舌，但料理完後完全不輸日本的！
起上都是整個定食，配菜都超級精緻、用料高級。完全不馬虎，例如干貝、螃蟹等都有出現過！
第一次來的人可以先點起上小法師，前段中段後段都有，確定自己喜歡哪種口感後，再點單一部位的套餐～～
我個人都點阿諾，軟嫩適中，非常好吃～
另外起上的白芥末真的是超好吃，清甜不嗆，每次都要跟店家要🔥💗
另外店家也會有一些季節炒菜，如酸菜牛舌、剝皮辣椒牛舌等～喜歡牛舌的應該會超滿足，推薦！
若是不吃牛，有無牛套餐可選擇，只有一種，內容物由由老闆搭配

山菜一湯

台中蠻有名的日式飯糰店，開在一間老式鐘錶行裡，蠻多人推薦，所以這一次來台中就來吃吃看！整體來說，魚口味的都蠻好吃的，份量也比想像中多，對身體沒有負擔的感覺，算是溫馨又清爽的一餐！
這次是臨時起意，所以沒有預約，店員預計說等半小時結果比想像中久大約等了一個半小時，還好附近很多地方可以晃⋯🤣
山菜一湯是以套餐形式享用飯糰，飯糰可以選兩種口味，湯可以選一種，甜點及前菜則是固定的。
我點了鮪魚跟假日限定的大切燻鮭魚口味，大切燻鮭魚，鮭魚非常好吃，炙燒的巡鮭魚香氣配合煮的恰到好處的飯糰，讓人一口又一口停不下來！不過鮪魚口味就稍嫌普通，而且裡面有玉米，我不太喜歡有玉米的飯糰有一點台台的感覺！
同行的人點的是鰻魚跟肉鬆，鰻魚蠻好吃的，肉鬆就是肉鬆不會錯，但喜歡肉鬆的人應該還是蠻喜歡的～
另外還有前菜的烤雞肉串燒值得稱讚，這個真的蠻好吃的，烤得恰到好處，肉也非常多汁軟嫩！雞湯這個感覺的出來笑了蠻多功夫，有一種奶奶才煮的出來的味道！
建議預訂，其實整體吃起來真的蠻好吃的，不過這次等的比較久，所以吃起來沒有到值得排隊一個半小時那種超乎想像中的美味～但以這個價位來說，以及店家的用心程度，我覺得去台中的人都可以試試看！

這家餐廳其實是我誤打誤撞找到的，本來就預計著今天晚上是想要吃蛋包飯的日子，但是原本找到的店家卻大排長龍，所以我們就立即在手機上面隨便找了一家！這家的評論看起來都很不錯，但是位置卻在非常奇怪的地方，我們循著找去之後..發現店家其實非常的小，電梯的門一打開就是這家蛋包飯店，裡面的位子差不多就只有10個左右！店內採自助式的方式點菜，所以只要在機器裡面點好之後餐點就會送過來了！
餐點🥘製作做花了一點點時間，看似很普通的蛋包飯，吃起來的時候卻很讓我們驚艷！
我特別推薦
❤️漢堡排蛋包飯
漢堡肉的味道非常鮮嫩多汁，每口切下去的時候都可以看到肉汁流出來，搭配上他們的咖喱，味道真的超級棒！而且蛋做的外熟內軟，可以很明顯的感覺到蛋汁混合咖喱的香氣，我超級推薦這一道的！連我這個小鳥胃都可以把整份吃光光
友人有人的那一份牛排咖喱飯🍛其實也不錯，但是我覺得牛排的部分沒有漢堡排那麼軟嫩，當然咖喱和但還是很不錯的，如果牛排的部分可以再更厚一點，然後味道再更嫩一點，相信會更好的！
大致上來說，我很推薦這一家餐廳，畢竟在日本是真的很多東西好吃，並不一定要找那些超多人推薦的餐廳才能找到美食，像這種藏在樓上的小餐廳，其實更可以體驗到日本人🇯🇵喜歡的當地口味！歡迎有去東京的人，可以嘗試看看喔～
