I used to think that Jiguang Xiangxiang Chicken was quite expensive (I think so now😂), so I rarely come here. Consumption, it may have been more than 5 years since the last time you ate it

The branch I visited today is located at B2 of Beijing Station. On Friday night, there was an endless stream of customers. They might be bringing fried food to rides or to watch a movie. Next to them, they drank first, bought drinks and then bought fried food. It was really a Friday Night standard. Equipped!

The buy one get one free item from 5/9 to 12 is "Golden Duck Xiangbao", from 5/16 to 19 it is the original sweet and spicy, and from 5/23 to 26 it is crispy garlic mushrooms. I have never tried Golden Duck Xiangbao before. This fried food, plus the buy one get one free promotion, decided to give it a try!

did not expect! It turns out that you have to spend over $100 before you can take advantage of the one-get-one-free promotion for buying certain products, so I sinfully bought an extra piece of chicken steak and fattened myself up.

It says chili pepper on the menu, but in fact it mainly has a peppery and numbing aroma, which is hardly spicy. Instead, it has a very obvious salty taste. It even feels a bit too salty. Even after eating it with a drink, I still feel that my tongue is tingling.
However, the chicken steak itself performed very well. It was fried very well, the skin was very crispy, and it tasted very refreshing. The meat remained soft and tender, and the gravy was well locked in~
I want to try the hemp milk flavored chicken steak next time!

Golden Duck Xiangbao $80
A serving is only 5 yuan. This time, with the buy one get one free promotion, you can get a chance to get 10 yuan for only $80, which is a great deal, otherwise the original price is quite expensive~
It looks like ordinary chicken nuggets, but it is actually made from a combination of chicken and duck meat. The duck meat is very fragrant and tastes a little softer and tender than McDonald's chicken nuggets. I like it sprinkled with salt and pepper. Yes, eat piece after piece!
But to be honest, after eating about 4.5 pieces, you will start to feel that the taste becomes a bit greasy. At this time, if you dip it in some tomato sauce, it will be more durable.
The four colors of playing cards made into the shape of ps Yaxiangbao are quite ingenious!

Overall, I can still afford the chicken steak for $100, but the Ya Xiang Bao, which costs $5 for $80, is a bit unpalatable. I can only wait until next time when the buy one get one free 😂
Although the price of each item of Jiguang Xiangxiang Chicken is on the expensive side, it is really delicious, so I still want to buy some to satisfy my cravings occasionally.
