The Tsurudate Ramen shop seems to be a relatively new ramen restaurant, as the decor is very new, making the place quite bright and clean.
The shop is located near Zhongshan MRT Station, and there are several famous ramen shops in this area. However, when I arrived, there was already a long line outside. The shop has a rule that you can only line up once the required number of people is reached, so please take note of this.
After waiting around 20 minutes, it was my turn. I went inside, used the self-service ordering machine to place my order and pay, then took a seat to wait for my meal.
This time, I ordered the Tsurudate Chicken White Broth Ramen, which can be said to be the shop's signature ramen. The toppings include a soft-boiled egg, pork chashu, chicken chashu, and a lot of fried burdock. To be honest, the fried burdock is quite good, but the quantity is a bit excessive; eating too much can become a bit overwhelming.
As for the broth, I found it to be just okay. Besides being salty, it lacked the chicken flavor that a chicken white broth should have. Additionally, the regular noodles were on the harder side, so those who prefer softer noodles might want to keep this in mind.
The toppings are quite decent, aside from the fact that there is just too much fried burdock.
