Taichung is full of restaurants with new and respectable looks, delicious food and high prices, and this refreshing looking Vietnamese pho restaurant is no exception

Phõ Where specializes in pho. There are several different flavors of pho here. In addition to the common raw beef, there are also seafood-based tom yum goong, chicken-based chicken soup base, honey-glazed barbecued pork and pork balls, dolphin flavor, etc.

As our first visit, we all wanted to try the signature raw and cooked beef pho, which comes with two different cuts of beef. The raw meat is sirloin, which turns beautiful pink after soaking and has a soft, tough and delicious taste; the cooked meat is breast and belly meat, which is soft and tender and full of aroma. Overall, both types of meat are delicious and go very well with the slightly sour and sweet soup.

The portion of the rice noodles is moderately soft and hard, with a smooth texture, so it can be considered that the basic skills are well done. In the past, when I saw such a refined and creative store, I would subconsciously think that the food might not be delicious, but the food here is indeed good.

However, the kitchen is right next to the seat, so there will still be some smell all over your body after eating, which is really unavoidable.

Raw and cooked beef rice noodles, according to the official statement, there are two kinds of meat in it: prime sirloin (raw meat), breast and belly meat (cooked meat)
It’s a restaurant that looks quite American and modern.
There is a bar area, which is very similar to the configuration of a ramen shop.

用 Fooday 看了一下附近有什麼評價不錯的餐廳,於是就來到這家美式河粉餐廳了。口味不確定是因為是「美式」的關係,還是有針對台灣人口味做改良,食物吃起來都比較清淡。 生春捲很常會加醃漬蘿蔔或是搭配魚露沾醬,但這家店兩者都沒有。春捲本身沒什麼味道,可以吃到生菜原味。沾醬則是花生去調出來的醬料,花生味道很濃。我自己是覺得還不錯。 冬陰功河粉也還不錯,海鮮很多,對得起它的價格(280)。口味上也沒有甚麼台灣人不熟悉的調味料的味道,大部分人應該都能接受。我自己是覺得口味稍嫌不夠重。招牌河粉我就覺得好像少了一味,但我也說不出少了什麼,整體來說口味過於清淡,不是很推。 總之,害怕魚露這些口味比較有東南亞特色的調味料的話,這家非常推薦。是小孩、老人都能接受的口味(實際就有看到 8、90 歲的老奶奶在用餐)。如果本身口味較重,這家店就沒有很推。

河粉的湯頭不錯,店內也非常的乾淨。河粉裡面會有蔥和香菜,如果不敢吃的要提前和老闆說。至於店內不提供訂位,只能到店現場排隊。 招牌牛肉河粉內基本上有生牛肉片和一些牛雜,河粉是屬於Q彈那種。雞湯的河粉湯頭不太一樣,是比較偏向香菇雞湯的湯頭,整體吃起來招牌比較好吃,東西也乾淨。是還會想回來吃的店!

Absolutely loved the fruit and ice cream waffles and very good and rich tasting espresso! You’ll have to wait for up to 30 minutes for the waffles to be served (not sure why) but it’s worth the wait! Friendly and helpful staff, although service is a little bit on the slow side, it’s a happy and relaxed place to visit.

【Foodholic乃子@台北】 「特越PHỞ」位於寧夏夜市附近,距離雙連站1號出口走路約5分鐘,是一家越式餐廳,除了主打的河粉以外,也有賣法國麵包、春捲等越式料理,但奇怪的是…這邊居然還有賣韓式拉麵、火鍋等不太會在越式餐廳看到的品項 禮拜一晚上6點抵達,店內很冷清,環境也有點陰暗,我們是唯一一組客人,店員只有一位,感覺是越南籍,中文不太好 店內座位數蠻少的,一樓看起來只有4桌兩人桌,但不確定是否有二樓 傳統石鍋牛肉河粉$180 其實我去越南旅遊時並沒有看過石鍋河粉這種料理,覺得挺特別的就點來吃吃看~ 店員會先送上一盤生的牛肉拼盤,包含牛肉片、碎牛肉和牛肚(?),以及一盤河粉和一顆雞蛋,接下來會端來一鍋滾燙的熱湯,接著幫我把生牛肉和雞蛋放進滾湯中,會馬上就煮熟;河粉自己放入,店員建議先放一半,河粉比較不會煮爛 首先喝一口熱湯,只能說驚為天人!湯頭超級讚耶!看似清淡,但喝起來很濃郁鮮甜,鹹度剛剛好,最特別的是有一股奶油香味,不知道是真的有加奶油還是加入生雞蛋的緣故,總之非常合我胃口,我幾乎整碗快喝光 牛肉片吃起來也非常軟嫩,很好吃!牛肚只有兩小塊,但很有嚼勁,我也挺喜歡!不過碎牛肉我就不太喜歡了,吃起來有點硬 也有附上檸檬,吃一半時可以再擠入檸檬汁,但個人覺得檸檬味不是太突出,其實原本的湯頭就很好喝了~ 朋友是點半生牛肉河粉$150,內容物看起來和我的石鍋河粉大同小異,湯頭喝起來也蠻相似的,感覺是差在少一顆雞蛋、內容物不是在我面前放進去的,就這樣 整體而言,價格不算貴,牛肉也還不錯吃,最驚艷的還是湯頭,我會為了河粉的湯頭再回訪!
