This restaurant is very popular on various websites... It has been recommended by many celebrities and influencers~ It even has a remarkable record of receiving a Michelin star! So if you don’t make a reservation, it’s basically hard to get a table…
I made my reservation two weeks before departure~ Once I stepped inside, it gave off a strong retro decor vibe. The staff was very enthusiastic, and there was absolutely no need to worry about communication issues 🦜. The waiters were constantly observing our situation; even though there were many customers, they were on point with taking orders, clearing plates, and serving dishes 🥬.
We casually ordered a few dishes based on our preferences~
❤️ Scallop Salad
The taste was quite special~ It had a hint of lychee sweetness, paired with Thai spices... similar to a light fragrance, and a bit of coconut coordinating well! I didn’t expect scallops to be prepared this way, and since the scallops themselves were very fresh, the overall dish was delicious!
❤️ Pork Belly
When I took a bite of this dish, I was amazed by the crispiness of the pigskin 🐷, but it was actually a bit hard, and I found the overall flavor to be rather heavy. Even the accompanying white rice felt a bit too salty; I couldn't really eat it continuously…
❤️ Watermelon
This dish was basically just a sprinkle of pork floss on top of the watermelon. The watermelon 🍉 itself is very sweet, which creates a salty-sweet taste. However, since the seeds weren't removed, I found it very inconvenient to eat, and as a result, I didn’t like this dish!
❤️ White Curry
This was my favorite among the four dishes. The pork was not only very tender but also very flavorful. Plus, with the rich taste of the curry, it was a very authentic Thai curry flavor. I really enjoyed the aromatic spices in it; this was the dish I most wanted to finish entirely!
Overall, I think this restaurant is quite recommendable. In fact, everything was delicious... There might be a few flavors that are slightly heavy, but I’m not someone who enjoys overly salty food, so perhaps those who prefer stronger flavors would like it even more!
