Located on the old street in Nanzhuang, Miaoli, near the Kongji Suspension Bridge. The shop's exterior is thoughtfully decorated with flowers and plants, as well as some colorful graffiti. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and offers a view of the suspension bridge! I initially thought it was just a bakery, but they sell a lot of items including drinks, savory foods, and even some local souvenirs. The store has a spacious interior and the staff is very friendly. Since I didn’t have much time here, I just took a quick stroll around.
▪️Chocolate Cheesecake Walnut $170 (vegetarian)
· Droplet chocolate / Cheesecake cubes / Walnuts
There were many types of bread and I chose the one that interested me the most. It looked quite large and was heavy to hold. The chocolate isn’t too sweet but has a rich aroma, and the droplet chocolate was partially melted. There were plenty of cheesecake cubes inside!! The walnuts were just for garnish. Overall, it didn’t feel greasy, and when reheated at home, the crust was delightfully crispy!
Overall, the environment is comfortable. Even though it’s a bakery, it feels somewhat like a hybrid restaurant, which would be a nice place to bring elders to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The value of the bread is quite high; although I wouldn’t say it’s particularly special, I quite liked it. The downside is that the portions are too large; I can’t buy too many flavors at once because there’s too much to eat! 😂
