The East District Noodle House, which started out with salty glutinous rice balls and dumplings, is a noodle restaurant with the flavor of an old restaurant. The sesame sauce is rich and mellow but not greasy, the wonton fillings are solid, and the thin skin locks in the sweet gravy inside. It is an addictive noodle shop that is worth trying again and again.
The side dishes are also of a high standard, especially the boiled squid, which is a must-try. It tastes very fresh and has a crispy texture. It is really a treat when dipped in wasabi rice.
The only drawback is that it’s too hot because it’s an outdoor seat, but it gives it a little more of an old-fashioned flavor😁
