💠 Cheng Bian Zhen Wei Eel Noodle

Today I’m in Tainan, and I want to introduce you to an old establishment founded in 1970 – Cheng Bian Zhen Wei Eel Noodle!
This restaurant has a great reputation, drawing many locals and tourists alike. However, my dining experience this time had a bit of a discrepancy, which I’d like to share for your reference.

🔸 Eel Noodle Soup (140 NTD)
Features a Tainan-style sweet, thick broth that is smooth and rich. The eel has a nice chewy texture, and the noodles absorb the broth well, performing reasonably. However, this time the broth was a bit bland, lacking the rich and aromatic warmth that one might expect, which is a bit unfortunate.

🔥 Stir-Fried Eel Noodles (190 NTD)
This dish is supposed to be the highlight, but I must say the wok flavor was noticeably lacking this time! The stir-fry aroma didn’t come through, and while the eel was decent, the overall experience felt like it lacked that soul of a stir-fry, and the taste was rather flat. The price is on the higher side but didn’t deliver the surprise one would expect.

🦑 Squid Noodle Soup (140 NTD)
The squid was very fresh, crunchy, and without any fishy taste, which is a plus! The thick soup style is similar to the eel soup, but compared to it, the taste is lighter, suitable for those who prefer milder flavors.

✍️ Personal Thoughts:
Although this restaurant is a well-known brand and might have had great strength in the past, the waiting time for this meal was very long, and I didn’t experience the "high-heat wok flavor" I expected, which felt a bit overrated. If you are a fan of Tainan's wok flavor, you might be disappointed. However, if you want to try the flavors of a classic old restaurant, it can still be on your list of places to visit!

829 城邊炒鱔魚 🌟沒用先找座位在排隊結帳 🌟2023必比登 「城邊炒鱔魚」創立於1970年,落座於東門圓環上,在地經營50幾年,以鑊氣十足的炒鱔魚作為招牌,可選擇勾芡與否,另有生炒花枝與麻油腰花供應,預設口味為微辣,不喜辣者可告知店員作調整。 城邊炒鱔魚店家環境,透天騎樓店面,室內用餐環境燈光較為昏暗,環境還算是乾淨,座位區有2人座和4人座,大約可容納20幾人,調味料採用自取的方式,汽車可停到勝利路路邊停車格,機車可停門口。 城邊炒鱔魚菜單如下:招牌的鱔魚意麵可選勾芡不勾芡之外,還有生炒花枝以及內臟類的湯品麻油腰花,麻油豬心、豬肝清湯等等,價位落在140-270之間,內用先找座位填寫菜單完,再去排隊結帳;外帶填寫外帶單排隊結帳 開吃 乾炒鱔魚意麵(不勾芡) 💰190 善於給的份量非常豪邁,不過鱔魚部分長短落差很大,每一片吃起來的口感也不相同,長的鱔魚完全不脆,短的鱔魚反倒比較脆口,因為本人不太愛吃太甜的鱔魚意麵通常都會點乾炒,城邊家的乾炒不夠乾,口味上還是偏甜了一點,麵的部分事先炒好後再和鱔魚加在一起,整體香氣不夠,麵條比較沒有吸收到醬汁吃起來也會偏濕嫩,口味上寫一律微辣,怕辣的我覺得這部分味道不明顯 鱔魚意麵羹(勾芡) 💰140 調味部分比乾炒得更甜了些,麵條部分也是一樣問題,個人更不愛吃勾芡的。 心得:城邊的調味在台南LUNA我覺得中規中矩的味道,整體口味來說偏甜,麵的部分可能生意太好沒辦法一起炒,香氣上會不夠入味,變成麵規麵,鱔魚規鱔魚。 重視餐點:意麵口味偏甜 重視環境:老店燈光偏暗乾淨 重視停車:機車可停門口 汽車可停勝利路路邊停車格 重視廁所:無 重視排隊:速度很快,幾乎不用排隊 重視服務:普通 注重CP值:🌟🌟🌟 (單純探討食物跟價格)

路過看到,店名與設計風格都吸睛的麵店,平日午餐熱門時段,內用爆滿,外帶需於店外等候。 店面內用空間不大,儘管還是努力塞了四人桌 × 3 + 二人桌 × 2 + 靠牆位 × 7 = 23 位。 店外張貼雜誌介紹,原為義式餐廳的團隊,轉做台式麵食,可以感受到確實是以當代年輕風格,再詮釋傳統麵食的樣貌。 點了老滷牛肉乾拌麵,牛腱肉片吃起來符合預期,雖無特別記憶點,但數量不少。 寬麵表現非常棒!麵體彈牙好吃,拌入的醬料搭配相當適宜,非常喜歡。 豆棗在此作為傳統配料,不過這樣的甜味,在整體偏醬鹹的口味中,顯得...很微妙。 店內的視覺設計與播放音樂都很酷,僅收現金,且無發票。

【Foodholic乃子@台北】 先說結論:如果不介意排隊的話,非常推薦來吃這家麵疙瘩! 「BON MEINGERDA」聽說原本是開在大安站,後來才搬到劍潭站附近,一直都是排隊名店,之前礙於要排隊排很久就打消念頭,今天剛好到劍潭站附近,就下定決心來排排看! 「BON MEINGERDA」位於劍潭站附近,距離3號出口走路約7分鐘,位於住宅區,旁邊是一個社區小公園,環境挺幽靜舒適的,看到也有網友說可以外帶到公園吃 禮拜二、三固定公休,禮拜四、五似乎也只有晚上營業 中午從11:30開始營業,晚上從17:30開始營業,都是售完就關了 店內只有14個座位,據說要在開店前先來排隊才有機會在開店第一批吃到,我們星期日下午4:40左右到現場發現還沒人排隊,就到公園晃晃,大概4:55左右就開始有人排隊了,大概5:10左右第一批就額滿,接下來到的客人就要登記候位了,可能需要6點多甚至7點才能進場 ⚠️售完就沒了喔,所以營業時間是參考用的 聽說麵疙瘩的份量不大,所以我們很貪心,兩人點了三份,結論是:還是點兩份就好,三份實在太飽了,差點沒吃完浪費 我們點了東山鴨胸佐巴薩米克醋奶油麵疙瘩$260、紅燒肉蕈菇青醬麵疙瘩$230、豆乳雞起司白醬麵疙瘩$230 三種口味都很好吃,要選最喜歡哪個其實有點難分高下,不過有個相同的小缺點,就是醬汁吃到後面都會蠻膩的,尤其是起司白醬,冷掉後會更膩,建議可以點不同口味的來分食,有新鮮感就比較不膩 巴薩米克醋奶油口味吃起來帶有酸味,不一定大家都能接受,但個人覺得蠻好吃的 麵疙瘩本人表現超級優秀!!!!!!!!!!!那個軟硬度拿捏得非常剛好,很Q彈、有嚼勁,大推! 鴨胸吃起來是比較軟和有韌性的,不是煎到表面硬脆的那種,覺得是好吃的,但沒到非常厲害 紅燒肉就很台式了,覺得可以再更酥脆一點,不過味道有達到中上,份量也不小 豆乳雞形狀很可愛,長得圓圓的,乍看還以為是丸子,雞肉很扎實,味道也夠,沾一點店家自製辣椒又更上一個層次,敢吃辣的話推薦加! 整體而言,麵疙瘩真的沒有愧對要排很久的名氣,很好吃! 如果排隊半小時以內的話,願意再訪~ (下次可能會挑個平日中午,說不定人會少一點?)
