豪記鮮魚湯

Today, it's drizzling outside, so I thought I wouldn't go too far and ended up at the nearby "Hao Ji Fresh Fish Soup" to try something new.
I originally wanted to have soup, but when I saw the hot stir-fry area, I suddenly craved some hot dishes to go with my rice. In the end, I chose stir-fried clams as the main dish between steamed shrimp and stir-fried clams.

About the meal:

Stir-Fried Clams (110 NT$)
There were about 15 clams (I forgot to count 🤣) without any fishy smell. The seasoning is quite Taiwanese, with a lot of shredded ginger, combined with basil and garlic, making the overall aroma very rich. The sauce isn't too salty. (Ginger lovers rejoice!)

Braised Pork Rice (30 NT$)
I personally didn't like this dish very much. The flavor is quite bland, almost no saltiness at all, instead it has a slightly sweet taste, making it feel a bit lackluster 🥲. Later, I poured the sauce from the stir-fried clams over it to give it more flavor.

I feel like the stir-fried dishes should all be quite delicious ~
From what I've seen in online reviews, the fish soup seems to be very good, so I'd like to try it next time!
However, the braised pork rice didn't suit my taste, as it was too sweet and too bland, but that's subjective!

For dine-in, there is air conditioning and the space is quite comfortable. If a bunch of friends or family comes to eat and orders a lot of stir-fried dishes, it should be really nice ~
